I visited Mr Mahran after months of pain and from the first appointment he listened to me and promised to get to the bottom of what was happening. After an MRI it became clear I needed surgery. He was very reassuring explaining what would happen and had information to read through. He messaged the night before surgery to confirm when to stop eating. In the hospital before surgery he went through the procedure so I clearly understood it. He visited my the day after surgery and explained what had happened in the surgery. Upon discharge his secretary was in contact within a week wanting to check how I was doing. When I explained I had a possible infection she was straight on the phone to Mr Mahran to let him know. I ended up needing to go to A&E she asked if I could text Mr Mahran as he was worried.Every single step of the way Mr Mahran has listened, he was thorough and he was reassuring.I would recommend him to anyone struggling and needing help.

Ahead of my surgery he was so thoughtful and always made me feel informed and supported. Post surgery when I had a worry he called me straight away to help. I have been to numerous gynaecological consultants across a span of around 20 years (a common story for many I’m sure) but I never felt my concerns were being taken seriously. I have PCOS and (as finally diagnosed by Mr Mahran) endometriosis and have been struggling with associated symptoms for most of my life. Consultants I’ve seen previously were only concerned about treating ‘fertility problems’ (despite me now wanting to fall pregnant) and not about the debilitating impact of the symptoms on my everyday life.Mr Mahran took the time to fully understand all my symptoms as a larger picture, through thorough tests he ensured that he fully understood what was going on for me and truly believed my pain. To have my suffering truly seen and acknowledged was very empowering and healing, and such a relief.There came a point during my treatment where other professionals disagreed with our plan and Mr Mahran tirelessly fought for the right treatment for me, which has ultimately changed my life. I am incredibly grateful to him for all he’s done for me. Thank you.

I only wish I had found Mr Mahran sooner. From the first appointment I felt I was finally seeing someone who understood both endometriosis and adenomyosis and wanted to help. I have been visiting Mr Mahran for 10 years for various gynaecological issues. Over the years I have had various procedures where I have been put at ease by his kind and professional nature - always leaving feeling reassured.I have recently undergone a hysterectomy which I have recovered well from due to the expertise of Mr Mahran.if you find you are in need of a gynaecologist at any time I would certainly recommend him - he is an excellent consultant, cares about his patients and makes you feel at ease at all times.To quote his words before my recent operation “you are in good hands” and I will certainly agree that I was.Thank you.

I saw Mr Mahran in his clinic, a lovely man, very courteous, polite and listened to what I had to say. I had surgery, with an overnight stay, I felt in very safe hands. Surgery was straight forward, I’ve made a very good recovery. If there are any ladies out there who need a gynaecologist, Mr Mahran is definitely your man.

Dr Mahran has been an absolute God send. I have been dealing with several gynaecological conditions for as long as I can remember and it has been very heart breaking and disheartening when you are diagnosed with more and more issues and you don't feel listened to. From the first appointment, Dr Mahran gave an action plan which allowed me to get a scan and operation all within a short amount of time. I was so grateful for his advice and help. I felt listened to and was taken seriously.I would definitely recommend Dr Mahran, he has been so understanding and also has a good team. His PA Laura has also been great, she called me to check in after my surgery which I really appreciated. There were never any delays whatsoever or days where appointments/surgery were rescheduled, so that was also a bonus.Thank you so much!

I can't thank Mr Mahran enough. He is one of the only medical professionals who listens to me and believes what I say, prior to both operations I had people telling me that there's nothing wrong with me, whereas he listened to me and performed surgery which confirmed all of the issues I've been experiencing. Both operations went smoothly. I'll be forever grateful for everything Mr Mahran has done for me, without him I don't think I would have been able to conceive!

I recently underwent a total hysterectomy at the Manor Hospital in Biddenham, Bedford performed by Mr Mahran.Mr Mahran is such a lovely man who made sure I felt reassured and safe from the very first consultation . I received a personal text from him the night before my surgery to reassure me that I was in good hands and I certainly was! The text was a nice thought as I was extremely nervous.The recovery from my procedure was excellent. Minimal cuts and no pain, just a little discomfort. On the second day I was down to pain relief now and then.Following a check up with Mr Mahran, I’ve gone on to make a great recovery and I feel really well, all in just 6 weeks.Thank you so much Mr Mahran for being so lovely and reassuring, you truly are fantastic surgeon.

Dr Mahran is the most professional, kind & amazing consultant / doctor I have ever met. After having many problems with my embedded coil and having problems getting it removed with other hospitals Dr Mahran finally did this for me, after many doctors / healthcare professionals telling me I’d need this removed under general anaesthetic Dr Mahran did this via local anaesthetic And the procedure was almost painless. It was very quick & simple, he was extremely reassuring! I am relieved that the coil is gone & honestly would recommend Dr Mahran to any female that needs any help especially if they have had any problems in the past with other consultants as Dr Mahran is a very understanding man. He was honestly incredible! Thank you so much I’d give 50 stars if I could, he has changed my life forever and I’ll always be grateful!

Cannot be more grateful for the support and treatment I received. Came in with PCOS that was causing me multitude of issues - Mr Mahran not only listened sympathetically but put in place a treatment plan which consisted of changing my contraception (coil insertion that was quick and completely painless!) alongside a dietary change which has resulted in me finally having regular periods as well as my rosacea clearing up. I cannot express how much I appreciated his calm and reassuring demeanour in the initial consultation which for anyone else with PCOS will no doubt relate to being consistently dismissed. I can’t recommend Mr Mahran highly enough. My laparoscopy was very quick and the endometriosis was found and dealt with. I’m currently 6 week post op and feeling so much better and no longer taking daily painkillers.
